The tour gives a very good introduction to Malta. The itinerary includes a lot of variety. The full tour requires 8 hours, but shorter versions are also available.

Mdina, otherwise known as the "silent city", is the island's old capital. Built in the 9th century by the Arabs. This medieval city is a maze of narrow alleys and magnificent architecture. Our walking tour includes all the main features and also a visit to St. Paul's Cathedral.

West Coast, this route will take us along the spectacular Dingli Cliffs offering stunning views of the Mediterranean and an opportunity to see the more rural side of the island.

Hagar Qim Temples, (LM2.00pp) situated on the southern coast of the island, these temples are among the most imposing megalithic structures in Malta. Dating back 3000 years BC, some of the stones are 4 metres high and weigh a staggering 20 tons.

Marsaxlokk, our next stop is the quaint fishing village of Marsaxlokk. Admire the colorful traditional fishing boats known as the 'luzzu' and small market which lines the seafront. Lunch can booked if requested in one of the local restaurants.

Valletta, built by the Knights of St. John in 1565 is most definitely worthwhile visiting. Our tour of the city includes a drive around the capital's magnificent bastions and a guided walking tour of the main highlights including the Barraka Gardens, here you can admire fabulous views of Grand Harbor. St. John's Co. Cathedral (LM1.00pp) where you can see Caravaggio's "Beheading of St. John", and other city highlights.
